It was traditionally an important aspect of all the previous meetings in the series of Molecular Recognition conferences that these were organized under the patronage of prestigious local, national and international organizations, such as the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (HAS), the Hungarian Biophysical Society, the European Biophysical Societies’ Association (EBSA), the City of Pécs, and naturally the host institution, the University of Pécs as well.
The IV. International Conference on Molecular Recognition held in 2007 was organized under the patronage of Szilveszter Vizi E., President of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences; Péter Tasnádi, Mayor of the City of Pécs; Róbert Gábriel, Rector of the University of Pécs; János Szolcsányi, President of the Regional Committee of the HAS in Pécs, and Michael A. Ferenczi, President of the EBSA.
